Dorothy M. (Sanville) Amirault, 82, of Merrimac, formerly of Bradford, died Sunday, March 18, at the Merrimack Valley Hospice, surrounded by her loving family.Born in Haverhill on August 22, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Varris J. and Mary E. (Halloway) Sanville. Educated in Haverhill, she was a Graduate of St. James Grammar and St. James High School, Class of 1947. She was a member of Sacred Hearts Parish.Along with being a homemaker, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, Mrs. Amirault was employed as a waitress at the former Pat’s Beef House in Haverhill, and for over fifteen years she was employed as a supervisor for the Internal Revenue Service in Andover, retiring in 1994. Upon retirement, Mrs. Amirault was active in the senior center in Haverhill where she taught line dancing.She leaves her beloved husband of sixty-four years, Robert T. Amirault, of Merrimac, a son, Mark J. Amirault and his wife, Joannie, of Haverhill, four daughters, Linda A. Blake, and her husband, Jay, of East Kingston, NH, Mary Ellen Deveau, and her husband, Joseph, of Bradford, Regina D. Schulman and her husband, John, also of Bradford, and Lori A. Neves and her husband, Antonio, of Merrimac, a daughter in law, Marcia J. Amirault, of Londonderry, NH, cherished grandchildren, Joshua Deveau and his fiancé Kristen Graham, Erica Nolan and her husband, Jeff, David Ratcliffe Jr, Jennifer Ratcliffe, Jonathon Kmet, Jason Amirault and his fiancé Aimee Coles, Amanda Amirault and her fiancé Brian Alfonso, Danielle, and Conor Amirault, Monica and her husband, Randy Lalumiere, Stephanie Neves, Tony Neves Jr., and Nicole Goyette, great grandchildren, Damien, Tysen, and Xavier Amirault, two brothers, Kevin and his wife Marisa Sanville of NJ and David Sanville, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, William T. Amirault in 2006, and her siblings, William and Mary Sanville.Friends and family are respectfully invited to call on Thursday from 4 until 7 PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St. (Rte 125) Haverhill. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 9:30 from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:30 in Sacred Hearts Church, South Main St. Bradford. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Primrose St. Haverhill. In lieu of flowers, suggested memorial donations may be made to the St. Vincent DePaul Society of Sacred Hearts Church, 48 South Chestnut St. Bradford, MA 01835.
