Edward Patrick Bradshaw, 55, of Dexter NY, died Friday, March 23, 2012, at Samaritan Medical Center, after a long illness.Born in Manhattan, NY on Feb. 20, 1957, he was the son of the late Edward C. “Dean” and Rosena P. (McNulty) Bradshaw. After graduating from the New York School of Printing in 1974, he moved to Northern New York where he went to work for Ontario Professional Builders in Watertown, working at Fort Drum and in the Watertown area. He worked until his retirement in 1990 due to a workplace accident.On Jan. 16, 1988, he married Ms. Marilyn (Pflugheber). An avid hunter and fisherman, he loved the outdoors and especially loved spending time with his family who he also helped work and run the family farm right alongside his father-in-law.Edward is survived by his wife, Marilyn, a daughter, Maura J. Bradshaw, of Watertown, NY, two sons, Casey R. Van Landingham, Tooele, Utah, and Dean J. Bradshaw, Dexter, NY, four brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles R. and Mary Ann Bradshaw, Hampton, NH, Joseph E. and Ellen Bradshaw, Manhattan, NY., Stephen G. and Debra Bradshaw, Clifton, NJ, and Christopher J. and Joan Bradshaw, Staten Island, NY, two sisters, Susan M. and Gerard Foley, Athens, GA, Sister Maureen Bradshaw, Sparkill, NY, and nieces and nephews.Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St. (Rte 125) Haverhill.
