Salisbury – Eleanor “Ele” (Frishkorn) Thorogood, 85, of Salisbury, formerly of Upland California, died Thursday, February 20 at the Merrimack Valley Hospital in Haverhill, MA. Born in SanDiego and a lifelong Californian, Ele was an award winning photographer and painter. She also enjoyed camping and fishing in the southwest. In later years, an avid movie buff, Ele moved to Massachusetts to be near her daughter. She was the cherished wife of fifty-four years to Sidney Thorogood, who died in 2004. She is survived by her daughter, Dawn and her son in law, John Paynter, of Salisbury, MA, and her two grand cats.Funeral services are private. Arrangements are by the Kevin B.
