Flora Pagan, 60, a Haverhill resident of 24 years, died peacefully, with her loving family by her side on Tuesday, December 6, 2011, at the Lawrence General Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer.Born in the Dominican Republic, on July 1, 1951, she was the loving daughter of Rafael and Maria (Cornelio) Pagan. Having been born, raised, and educated in the Dominican Republic, she moved to Haverhill in 1986, having worked as a Machine Operator for the Evelyn Fabric Corporation as well as devoting the remainder of her free time to her loving family. Flora loved spending most of her time with her beautiful and loving grand daughters, and also enjoyed cooking, a passion for which she loved to share with her family and friends.Flora is survived by her loving mother, Ms. Maria (Cornelio) Pagan, her three beloved children, a son, Christian Fresa, of Haverhill, and two daughters, Jackeline Fresa, of Haverhill, and Diana Fresa, of Haverhill, her brother and sisters, Cruz Perez, Rafaela Pagan, Rafael Pagan, Celia Dominguez, Maria Santana, Xiomara Arize, and Lourdes Pagan, seven grandchildren, Yeraida Pina, Yulissa Diaz, Yaneli Diaz, Kristine, Fresa, Krisnelly Fresa, Dania Rivera, and Wendi Rivera, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Quico Pagan.Friends and family are respectfully invited to call on Sunday, Decemeber, 11, 2011, from 4 until 6pm at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street (Rte. 125) Haverhill, MA, 01830. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 12, 2011, at 9:00AM from the funeral home, with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00AM in St. James Church, Winter Street, Haverhill. Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery, 750 Broadway (Rte. 97), Haverhill.
