Florence Gaudet

Florence G. (Thorne) Gaudet, 68, of Haverhill, passed away Saturday evening, August 29, at the Brigham &amp Women’s Hospital in Boston after a lengthy illness.Born in Winthrop, she was the daughter of the late William and Florence Thorne. She attended Winthrop Public Schools and was a Graduate of Winthrop High School, Class of 1960. Mrs. Gaudet was employed as a sales associate at Staples Office Supply Store in Plaistow, NH, for over twelve years, retiring in 2007.She enjoyed making latch hook rugs, playing solitaire, cribbage, and spending time with family. She is survived by her beloved husband of forty-one years, James D. Gaudet, two daughters, Rene C. Gaudet, and Tammy E. Gaudet, and cherished granddaughter, Abby, all of Haverhill, five sisters, a brother, and several nieces and nephews.Friends and family are respectfully invited to attend a Memorial Mass to be celebrated on Friday, September 4, at 11:00 AM in St. James Church, Winter St. Haverhill.
