Haverhill – Frances M. (Skibicki) Davoli, 88, formerly of Haverhill, wife of the late Donald F. Davoli, passed away January 1, 2017 at her home in Methuen.Born in Haverhill, she was the daughter of the late Bronc and Irene (Heroux) Skibicki. Raised and educated in Haverhill, she was a graduate of Haverhill High School, Class of 1946. She married Donald in 1946 and they were married for 59 years. Frances worked at Western Electric for 25 years and as a teacher’s aide in Special Ed for the Haverhill School Department. She came from a large family and enjoyed the holidays, especially the gift giving and all the cooking. Her home was open to everyone. Frances loved card games and day trips to Foxwoods Casino. She also enjoyed playing cribbage. Most of all, she loved spending time with her cherished grandchildren and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Frances is survived by her children, Denise L. Picard and her husband Michael of West Newbury Donald F. Davoli and his wife Judith (Accardi) of Bradford three grandchildren, Derek Davoli, Alicia Picard, Jacob Picard two great grandchildren, Ben Davoli and Kaleigh Davoli two sisters, Donna Muse and her husband Jack of Haverhill Judy Skibicki her brother Ben Skibicki and his wife Joan several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by ten sisters and one brother. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, January 4, from 4:00PM until 7:00PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill. Funeral services will follow at 7:00PM in the funeral home. Burial will be private.
