00Haverhill – Harper Josephine Titus was born sleeping on April 19, 2021, at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston with her loving parents by her side.
Harper was the daughter of Camden and Lucia (Picardi) Titus of Haverhill, granddaughter of Connie Greathouse of Revere, David and Kim Larochelle of Westfield and great granddaughter of Joy “Opa” Platt. Harper was also the niece of Christine, Paulette and Christopher, Donnamarie, Eric and Nichole, Richie, Sissy and Daniel, and many more. Harper also had many cousins and other extended family. She was anxiously awaited by her parents and older brother Carlos. Please keep the family in your prayers for healing as they prepare for her funeral. Harper was predeceased by her grandfather Richard J. Picardi and great grandmother Erna “Oma” Platt.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend a calling hour on Tuesday, April 27 from 10:00AM until 11:00AM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill. I am standing upon the seashore. A ship, at my side, spreads her white sails to the moving breeze and starts for the blue ocean. She is an object of beauty and strength. I stand and watch her until, at length, she hangs like a speck of white cloud just where the sea and sky come to mingle with each other. Then, someone at my side says, ‘There, she is gone’ Gone where? Gone from my sight. That is all. She is just as large in mast, hull and spar as she was when she left my side. And, she is just as able to bear her load of living freight to her destined port. Her diminished size is in me – not in her.
