Haverhill – Henry P. “Red” Fairbrother, 75, passed away Tuesday, July 5 at Boston Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. Born in Haverhill, he was the son of the late Henry A. and Susanna G. (McGonagle) Fairbrother. He served his country in the United States Navy from 1959-1965, honorably discharged. Mr. Fairbrother was a welder, fitter and Iron worker for the Boilermaker Union. He worked as a metal fabricator as well. He was a pilot, building his own experimental airplanes. A devoted husband, father and grandfather, he most enjoyed spending time with his family and many friends. He will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.In addition to his loving wife Sharon (Hicks) Fairbrother of over 30 years, he is survived by his children, Harry Fairbrother and his wife Pamela of Danville, NH Jeffrey Fairbrother and his wife Susan of Yuma, AZ Patrick Wason and his wife Kathy of Costa Rica Dana Hodgdon and his wife Charla of Frisco, TX Julie Salvador and her husband Dave of Danville, NH Melissa Hodgdon of Peabody, MA and Kimberly Ramsey of Seattle, WA seven grandchildren, Beau, Stephanie, Jake, Kayla, Kristin, Kyle, Zachary and Elijah 8 step grandchildren, a brother, Arthur Fairbrother of Plum Island a sister Grace Bukowski of Newton, NH and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Carl Fairbrother, his sister Anna Heffler and his beloved dog Buster.Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Friday, July 8 from 4:00PM until 7:00PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill. Funeral services will be on Saturday, July 9 at 10:00AM in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Walnut Cemetery, Kenoza Street, Haverhill.
