Henry J. “Hank” Comeau, Jr., 76, of Haverhill, passed away on January 20, 2026 at the Parkland Medical Center in Derry, NH.
Hank was born in Haverhill on October 31, 1949 to Henry J. and Gloria (Bouchard) Comeau and was a graduate of Haverhill Trade School, Class of 1967. He studied carpentry and worked as a furniture maker, and for Falcone Piano for many years. An umpire and a coach, Hank was a fan of all sports, especially the Patriots, and was always involved in his kids’ youth sports. He was also an avid bowler, loved lying out on the beach, and had a great sense of humor.
Hank was a devoted husband, partner and father. He is survived by his fiancé Linda Greenwood of Haverhill, and his children Shawn Comeau and his fiancé Shawna Lafey of Bradford, Sonja Medlin and her husband Jasper of Kenansville, NC, William Comeau, John Comeau and his wife Mary of DE, Kenneth Comeau, and David Comeau and his wife Sandra of Haverhill. He also leaves behind his sister Gloria Gates of ME and several grandkids, great grandkids and his first great great grandson. Hank was predeceased by his former wife Charlotte (Johnson) Comeau and his siblings Gregory Comeau, Richard Comeau, Donna Rogers and Barbara Newman.
