James Davidson

James William “Scotty” Davidson, 79, of Haverhill, died at home December 9, 2009 surrounded by his loving family after a long illness.Born in Cambridge on March 25, 1930, he was the son of the late Alexander and Florence (Spencer) Davidson and attended Cambridge public schools.For most of his life Scotty was employed by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology as a grounds keeper until his retirement. On June 26, 1955, Scotty married Ms. Patricia A. Whelan at St Joseph’s Church in Somerville.Scotty was an avid lover of movies, boxing, and fishing. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends but his memory will live with them.Scotty is survived by his four daughters, Michele Koshima, of Haverhill, Denise Davidson and Bonnie Davidson of Somerville, and Lori Mulcahy-Davidson of Boston. He also leaves behind two grandchildren, Danielle Davidson and Mitsu Koshima and beloved friend Marc Moreau.At the request of Scotty, funeral services were private. Arrangements were by the Kevin B.
