Jeannette Fountaine

Groveland – Jeannette M. “Ginger” (Hickey) Fountaine, 81, wife of the late David H. Fountaine passed away December 6 at Hannah Duston Healthcare in Haverhill surrounded by her loving family.Born in Newburyport, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Jeannette (Marchand) Hickey. Raised in the Acre section of Haverhill she attended St. James Grammar School and was a graduate of St. James High School, Class of 1952. Ginger was a manager at the former Arlington Trust in Haverhill. With her outgoing personality and her beautiful sense of style, she was well known throughout the city. She loved traveling with her husband and was a frequent visitor to the Caribbean, Europe and the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville TN. Ginger enjoyed listening to country music. She was an animal lover especially dogs.She is survived by her brother, Francis Daniel Hickey, F. Daniel Hickey, Jr. and Kathleen A.Hickey-Roy all of Haverhill Jean M. Benjamin and her husband Jason of Merrimac cousin, Jack J. Pazzanese and his wife Jacqueline D. of Hampton, NH godchildren, Gina M. Murthey and her husband Stephen of Tewksbury and Lisa A. Pazzanese of Salem, NH.Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, December10 from 3:00PM until 7:00PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill. Funeral services will begin on Friday morning at 10:00AM from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00 AM at St. James Church, Winter Street, Haverhill.
