Haverhill – Jennifer A. (Contino) Murray, 48, wife of Kirk A. Murray, passed away May 10, 2021 at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston.
Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Michael D. and Anne (Ackerley) Contino. Jennifer worked in healthcare most of her life at the Ipswich Physical Center, the former Caldwell Nursing Home, and in the kitchen at Merrimack Valley Hospital in Haverhill. She attended Ipswich High School and the Katherine Gibbs School in Boston, obtaining her Associates Degree. Jennifer was a “jack of all trades” helping her husband remodel their home. She played sports and enjoyed riding motorcycles with her husband. With her family she loved friendly competitions of karaoke and was known for her fun loving spirit. A devoted and loving mother, wife and sister. She will be missed by her family and friends.

In addition to her loving husband Kirk, she is survived by her children, Kirk A. Murray of Haverhill; Felicia A. Murray of Haverhill; siblings, Michael Contino of Branchberg, NJ; Anthony Contino and his wife Melinda of Australia; Bryan Contino and his wife Bethany of Haverhill; Lisa Byors of Salem; Gregory Contino and his wife Andrea of AZ; uncle Louis Contino and his wife Susan of AZ; step mother Beth Contino of Lynn; and several loving nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister in law Mary Contino.

    I worked with June at the greenery. What a great lady. Loved to work with her. Such a careing, funny woman.

    Jen: such a beautiful person. you come from such a loving family to whom I send my sincere condolences. your love you shared unsparingly was a quality one could only admire with great affection.     I am sending my condolences abs love from NJ. Jen and I grew up together in Ipswich. I remember playing together in the neighborhood, sleepovers and field trips. She was an amazingly kind and wonderful person.

    I met Jen on the sidewalk when Kirkie & my son entered Kindergarten … we spent the next 12 years standing side by side at school & sport events. I am forever grateful my path crossed with hers.     Kirk and kids- Losing a loved one is heavy on ones heart.. However, try to allow it to lessen that pain knowing you have an angel watching down upon you now. Thinking of you..
