Haverhill – John A. Thompson, 61, passed away Thursday, July 7 at Holy Family at Merrimack Valley Hospital in Haverhill.Born in Haverhill, he was the son of Rita (Petrou) Thompson of Haverhill and the late John J. Thompson. He was raised and educated in Haverhill and attended Haverhill public schools. John was employed as a technician in the electronics industry. He was loved by all who knew him. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughter, Layla Thompson of Haverhill and his sister, Joyce E. Thompson of CA. He was predeceased by his brother Michael Thompson.
