Joseph W. Ferrick, 54, of Haverhill, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 26, 2010 at the Beverly Hospital after being stricken ill suddenly at work.Born in Haverhill, July 11, 1956, he was the son of William J. and Nancy (Lennon) Ferrick. Educated in Haverhill, he attended Haverhill Trade School and was a member of the first graduating class of Whittier Regional Vo-Tech, Class of 1974. An upholsterer by trade he often used his skills, working at his uncle’s shop in Bradford, Hygrade Upholstery Co.He attended Andover Tractor Training School receiving his Class 1 license and drove truck for Bentley Warren Company in Ipswich for the past 10 years. A loving, kindhearted, family man, Joe enjoyed nothing more than spending time with his grandchildren. He also loved the mountains and traveling to Province Lake. An avid snowmobiler, he was a member of the Seven Lakes Snowmobile Club.He leaves his wife, Linda A. (Flavin) Ferrick, of Haverhill three daughters, Shannon E. Ferrick-Mondejar, and her husband Jordan A. Mondejar, of Bradford, Sarah M. Ferrick, also of Bradford, and Rachel A. Ferrick, of Haverhill his parents, Mr. William J. and Nancy (Lennon) Ferrick, of Hampstead, N.H. three brothers, James M, Daniel T., both of Haverhill, and David J., of Melrose two grandchildren, Lorenzo and Stella Mondejar and aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his sister-in-law, Deborah (McKinney) Ferrick.ARRANGEMENTS: Friends and family are respectfully invited to call on Thursday, Dec. 30, from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Friday, Dec. 31, at 9 a.m. from the funeral home, with a Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated at 10 a.m. in St. James Church, Winter Street, Haverhill. Burial will follow at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, North Broadway, Haverhill.
