Louis Anthony Morelli, 74, of Haverhill, died Tuesday, January 5, at the Oxford Nursing Home in Haverhill, surrounded by his loving family.Born in Haverhill, he was the son of the late, Louis and Pauline (Durocher) Morelli. He attended Haverhill public schools and was a Graduate of Haverhill Trade School, Class of 1954. A U.S. Army Veteran, Mr. Morelli proudly served from 1957 until being honorably discharged in 1960.For many years, Mr. Morelli was employed as a delivery man for the Wason-MacDonald Dairy Co. and later, Fantini Bakery in Haverhill. After ten years of service, he retired from Hood Coating Company in Georgetown in 1998.The widower of Doris A. (Gleason) Morelli, who died in April, 2009, he leaves a son, Louis A. Morelli, of Atkinson, NH, a daughter Kathleen A. Pearson and her husband, Gregory, of West Roxbury, a granddaughter, Kristia L. Pearson, a sister Rosann Morelli, of Haverhill, and several nieces and nephews.Friends and family are respectfully invited to call on Thursday (TODAY), from 6 until 8:00 PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St. (Rte 125) Haverhill. Funeral services and burial are private.
