Lucille Penta

Haverhill – Lucille M. (Dichard) Penta, 79, wife of the late Charles J. Penta, Sr. passed away August 22, 2016 at Hannah Duston Healthcare in Haverhill surrounded by her loving family.Born in Haverhill, she was the daughter of the late Alfred J. and Helen M. (Hume) Dichard. Raised and educated in Haverhill, she was a graduate of Haverhill High School, Class of 1955. She was employed at various shoe manufacturers in Haverhill but was mainly a homemaker. Lucille was an identical twin and she was inseparable with her sister. She loved to play cards, especially 45’s with her family. She lived in Florida for 20 years with her late husband and enjoyed playing pickle ball. With her husband, she moved back to her hometown of Haverhill in 2012. She also loved to play Bingo and did every chance she had. Lucille was outspoken and quick with her opinion to her family. She loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter, Lucille M. Ouellette of Haverhill a step son, Anthony Penta of Derry, NH her siblings, Butch Dichard and his wife Jane of Haverhill Alfred Dichard and his wife Pat of Merrimac Mary Nelson and her husband Ed of Bradford Carol Boule and her husband Charles of Bradford Helen Batchelder of Haverhill and Rita Vaiksnovas of Methuen a grandson, Jeffrey Emerson, Jr. of No. Carolina two great grandchildren, Steffanie and Evan Emerson of No. Carolina and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Charles J. Penta, Jr. and her granddaughter, Jessica Ouellette. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, August 25 from 5:00PM until 7:00PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill.
