Maerita Consentino

Methuen – MaeRita (Perry) Consentino, 97, wife of the late Frank Consentino passed away on April 2 at Nevins Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Methuen.Born in Lawrence, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Anna (Borba) Perry. She was raised and educated in New Bedford and East Providence RI and was a graduate of East Providence High School, Class of 1936. MaeRita was a strong, independent woman. Ahead of her time she was a successful entrepreneur. She started and owned many businesses among them being a nursing home, travel agencies, and several thoroughbred racing horses. She was a member for many years of the Salem, NH Ladies Lodge and helped organize many events there. She loved to travel and did so as often as possible. She is survived by her son Vincent Pappalardo and his wife Carol of Davie, FL and two grandchildren, Vincent S. Pappalardo and Victoria Pollard. She is predeceased by her siblings Palmira Faria, Nellie Costa and Helen Stramando. Funeral services will be private. Arrangements by the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill.
