Haverhill – Mark Todd Mencis, 54, passed away January 1, 2017 at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston surrounded by his loving family.Born in Haverhill, he was the son of Harriet I. Goralnick of Haverhill and the late Milt N.Mencis. Raised and educated in Haverhill, he was a graduate of Haverhill High School, Class of 1980. He also attended Temple University and Northern Essex Community College. He was employed as a computer analyst and previously worked at Digital Equipment Corporation and Cisco Systems. Most recently he was employed at the Psychological Center in Lawrence. Mark was a New England Patriots fan and enjoyed WWE wrestling. He loved playing cards and traveling to Las Vegas, Atlantic City and Europe. Mark liked to travel on cruise ships throughout the Caribbean Islands and made many friends. He liked to listen to all genres of music and enjoyed swimming. He leaves his beloved dog Jasper. In addition to his loving mother, Mark is survived by his sister Lisa B. Minion of Windham, NH uncles Edward Mencis of Sandown, NH Lester Mencis of No. Andover Arnold Goralnick of Canton and dear friend Cathleen Collins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Samuel and Gertrude (Jacobowicz) Goralnick. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend funeral services on Sunday, January 8 at 1:00PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill.
