HAVERHILL – Mary Helen (Burton) Belanger, 89, passed away on November 15, 2025 at her home in Haverhill.
Mary was born on April 17, 1936 in Haverhill to R. Kenneth and Delia H. (Regan) Burton. She was a graduate of Haverhill High School, Class of 1954, and worked for many years at Lucent Technologies as an Administrative Assistant. Mary was a foodie and enjoyed spending time at local restaurants in Haverhill. She will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, sister and aunt, and for her unique, pervasive sense of humor.
Mary is survived by her son Gilbert E. Belanger, Jr. of Haverhill, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Gilbert E. Belanger, Sr., in 2013, and her sisters, Gertrude Rita Burton and Catherine Marion Graham.
