Patricia Sullivan

Patricia (Karekos) Sullivan, 68, of Haverhill, died Sunday, March 22, 2009 at the Exeter Hospital from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.Born in Haverhill, she was the daughter of the late, Charles and Rallou (Handakas) Karekos. She attended Haverhill Public Schools and was a 1959 Graduate of Haverhill High School. She continued her education at the Fassio School of Beauty in Lawrence and received her Beauticians License. She spent 17 years employed as an inspector at the former AT&amp T and Lucent Technologies, in North Andover, retiring in 1990.Nothing gave Patricia more joy than caring for and watching her family grow, she was the matriarch of “Sullyville.. She was a fabulous cook, she enjoyed camping, traveling, gardening, and decorating her home. Her life was centered around her family and she will be sadly missed.She leaves her beloved husband of 48 years, Daniel J. Sullivan two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael P. and Elizabeth M. (Glennon), Kevin J. and Michele L. (Crescenzi) all of Haverhill three brothers, Peter, of Newark, N.Y., Christos of Amesbury, and Stephen of Tampa, Fla. sisters, Eleanor Daginis of Haverhill, Lucy MacDougall of Haverhill, Betty Church of Merrimac and Dorothy Early of Bradford cherished grandchildren, Brian, Stephen, Julia, Catherine, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother John, and sister Mary Varonfakis.ARRANGEMENTS: Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Holy Apostles Sts. Peter and Paul Greek Orthodox Church, 154 Winter St., Haverhill. Burial will follow at St. James Cemetery, Primrose Street, Haverhill. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St., Route 125, Haverhill.
