Bradford – Patricia E. (Casey) Thompson, age 60, of Bradford, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday morning, July 13, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. Patty was born April 13, 1956 and raised in Lawrence. The daughter of the late William and Rita (Fleming) Casey, she was a 1974 graduate of St. Mary’s High School.Patty is survived by her devoted husband Donald E. Thompson, daughter Casey M. Thompson of Bradford, daughter Erin M. (Thompson) Bertrand and her husband William, Grandchildren Nora June and William Bertrand of Bradford, Father-in-Law Donald W. Thompson of Haverhill. She is also survived by sister, Eileen (Casey) Woelfel and her husband Brian of Haverhill, brother William J. Casey, Jr. and his wife Rita of San Felipe, Mexico, brother James O. Casey and his wife Ellen of Lynn and many adoring nieces, nephews and their children.Patty retired from Agfa Corporation after 25 years of service. She served as President of the Board of Directors of the local Arc agency and, as a loyal parishioner of Sacred Hearts Parish, was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society for many years.Throughout her life she was surrounded by family and friends, enjoying the beach and travel. Patty’s high school friends remained close throughout the years referring to themselves as “The Belles of St. Mary’s”. She was also blessed to have her loyal friend of many years, Kathy Owens.Family was what truly centered Patty, and through her example, her children and grandchildren have been firmly guided in the importance of “holding family dear.”Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Sunday, July 17 from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill. Funeral services will begin on Monday at 9:00 a.m. in the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Hearts Church, 165 South Main Street, Bradford.
