Paula Dennis

Haverhill – Paula J. (Sweeney) Dennis, 74, wife of the late Edward J. Dennis, passed away Friday, February 17, 2017 at Hannah Duston Healthcare in Haverhill surrounded by her loving family.Born in Haverhill, she was the son of the late Paul and Ellen J. (Herring) Sweeney. Raised and educated in Haverhill, she was a graduate of Haverhill High School, Class of 1961. She was an LPN and worked in healthcare for many years. Paula also worked at Raytheon and then Consolidated Containers, where she retired from in 2008. After retirement, she enjoyed spending her winters in Florida. She liked to bowl, play bingo and loved her scratch tickets. Paul enjoyed crocheting for her family, especially her grandchildren. She was devoted to her family and enjoyed spending time with them. Paula will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her. Paula is survived by her children, Jody A. Wezesa and her husband Jay of Haverhill Paul E. Dennis and Lisa Darbe of Haverhill Scott M. Dennis of Haverhill six grandchildren, Jennifer, Diana, Daniel, Zach, Alex, Dawn and Scott one great grandchild, Felicia. She was predeceased by her brother, Paul J. Sweeney, Jr. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, February 22 from 4:00PM until 7:00PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill. Funeral services will be on Thursday at 10:00AM in the funeral home. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Primrose Street, Haverhill.
