Rita Alma (St. Cyr) Robertson, 75, of Plaistow, formerly of Haverhill, died Monday, March 1, 2010 at the Exeter Hospital, after a lengthy illness.Born in Haverhill, she was the daughter of the late Joseph F. St. Cyr and Alina Y. (Fournier). She was a graduate of St. Joseph Grammar School and attended Haverhill High School.A devout wife, mother, and grandmother, Mrs. Robertson began her career employed in the local shoe industry. She also worked for Woolworth’s and J.M. Field’s Department Stores in Haverhill. For the last 20 years she was a code and edit clerk for the I.R.S. in North Andover, retiring in July of 2009.Mrs. Robertson enjoyed nothing more than spending her spare time with her children, grandchildren, and siblings.The widow of Robert H. Robertson Sr., who died in 2003, she leaves her children and their spouses, Robert H. Jr. and his wife Dana L. Robertson of South Riding, Va., Glenn S. and his wife Cheryl A. (Bourdelais) Robertson of Effingham, N.H., and Jodi A. Oliver and her husband Timothy W. of Brentwood, N.H. 12 grandchildren, Emily, Sarah, Benjamin, Thomas, and Chloe Oliver, Jennifer and Haley Robertson, Nicholas, Sean and Cody Jones, and Shelby and Dawn-Marie Saleski two brothers, Richard W. St. Cyr of Vancouver, Wash., and Arthur R. and his wife Helen of Haverhill two sisters, Adele I. Tragiou of Epping, Theresa M. Campbell of Merrimac and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Phyllis L. Royce, Yvonne D. St. Cyr, Marie A. Lowther, Joseph O. St. Cyr, and Robert R. St. Cyr.ARRANGEMENTS: Friends and family are respectfully invited to call on Thursday, March 4, from 6 until 8 p.m. at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St., (Route 125) Haverhill. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Friday at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Plaistow Cemetery, Elm Street, Plaistow, N.H.
