Haverhill – Robert O. McElhany, 54, passed away at home on July 29, 2016.Born in Topeka, Kansas, he was the son of the late Robert O. McElhany and Dorcas (Duston) and stepson of Norman Duston. He was employed as a roofer and worked in the construction trades for most of his life. Surviving him are his children, Robert O. McElhany Jr. Crista McElhany of ME Joshua and Trisha McElhany of Ossipee, NH and Sarah McElhany of Ossipee, NH sisters, Linda Welch, Connie Hughs, and Cindy Atwell, brothers Eric Goldsmith and Thomas Welch, many nieces and nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his siblings, Danny Goldsmith, George Zamora and Lucy Zamora.
