Theresa (Blinn) O’Brien, 98, of Bradford, died Tuesday, January 10, 2012.Born Mary Rose Theresa Blinn August 25, 1913. She was the daughter of Philip and Esther (LeBlanc) Blinn. A devout parishioner of Sacred Hearts Parish, she was a Eucharistic Minister, Alter Server and a member of the Catholic Daughters #864 Court Sacred Hearts. Primarily a homemaker all of her life, Mrs. O’Brien was a woman of strong faith and family values.She was married to Paul F. O’Brien for thirty-six years until his death in 1972. She was the mother of Elizabeth and her husband, John Abromovitch, of South Dennis, MA, Judith and her husband William Grant, of Haverhill, Michael J. O’Brien, of Bradford, and Kathy and her husband, Alan Peters, of Bradford, ten grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Lucy Comeau, Lorraine Sargent, Fred, Moise, Emil, Joseph, Denis, and Wilfred Blinn.Friends and family are respectfully invited to call on Thursday, TODAY from 3 until 7 PM, at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St. (Rte 125) Haverhill. Funeral services will be held on Friday TOMORROW, at 9:30 AM from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:30 in Sacred Hearts Church, South Main St. Bradford. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Primrose St. Haverhill. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to Stevens-Bennett Home, 337 Main St. Haverhill, MA 01830 or the National MS Society PO Box 4527 New York, NY 10163.
