Lawrence- William J. Casey,III, 47, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Feb 6th 2017 after getting the flu. Born in Lawrence, he was the son of Ann C. (Tanski) Casey and the late William J. Casey.William was raised and educated in Lawrence and was a graduate of Greater Lawrence Tech class of 1987. Bill was an incredibly hard working and talented craftsman who enjoyed helping others every chance he had Bill had a huge heart and an even bigger smile and took joy in knowing he made a lasting impression on anyone he met. He spent his free time doing things he loved such as hunting, fishing, and skiing. Some of Bills many passions included playing pool with his team at the British Club, writing poems and songs and then putting music to them with his guitar and spending any time he could with his son and the rest of his beloved family. In addition to his loving mother, William is survived by his son, William J. Casey, IV, of Pelham, NH his siblings, John Torla, Cindy Torla-Murphy, Michael Casey nieces and nephews, Amy, Brian, Paul, Erin and one great niece, Avery. He was predeceased by his brother Paul Torla and sister Linda Torla. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Friday, February 10 from 3:00PM until 7:00PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill.
