Danville, NH \u2013 Beverly L. (Creeley) Hughes, 74, wife of the late Donald A. Hughes, passed away October 11, 2019 at her home with her loving family by her side.
\nBorn in Lawrence, she was the daughter of the late Thomas R. and Elizabeth (Manion) Creeley. Raised and educated in Lawrence, she was a graduate of Lawrence High School, Class of 1963. Beverly obtained her Associates Degree in Business and her LPN from Northern Essex Community College. She was employed at the Oxford Nursing Home in Haverhill for over 15 years and previously worked at Woodmill Nursing Home in Lawrence. Beverly loved helping patients in her care.
\nAffectionally known as Nana Hughes to all, Beverly enjoyed being with her grandchildren and supporting them in all aspects of their lives. She will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and aunt. Beverly will be missed by her loving family, friends, including pets Delilah, Hocus, Purple and Granddog Portia.<\/p>\n
Beverly is survived by her children, John Hughes and daughter-in-love Suzanne of Danville, NH and Kathleen Huggins and her husband James of Sutton, MA her 6 adoring grandchildren, Olivia Hughes, Parker Huggins, Sarah Hughes, Maya Huggins, Elizabeth Hughes and Natalie Huggins; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband Donald, she was predeceased by her brother, Thomas Creeley and sisters, Sharon Lariviere and Maureen Jardine.<\/p>\n
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, October 15 from 4:00PM until 7:00PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home,\u00a0486 Main Street, Haverhill. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home on Wednesday morning at 9:00AM with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at St. Anne Parish,\u00a026 Emerson Avenue, Hampstead, NH\u00a0at 10:00AM. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery,\u00a0130 N. Lowell Street, Methuen.
