Groveland \u2013 Dorothy T. (King) White, 79, wife of Lester W. White, with whom she would have celebrated 50 years of marriage July 17, has passed away on May 6, 2020 from complications of Alzheimer\u2019s and Covid-19 at Baker Katz Nursing Home in Haverhill.<\/p>\n
Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Michael J. and Dorothy H. (Joy) King. She loved gardening, tap dance and jazz and enjoyed going to yard sales. Devoted to her family, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Dot will be missed by all her family and friends.<\/p>\n
In addition to her loving husband Lester, she is survived by her step daughter, Andrea Belisle and her husband Kenneth, with whom she shared a special bond; grandsons, Bryan Belisle and his wife Allison of Groveland; Brett Belisle and his wife Emily of Kingston, NH; great grandchildren, Cooper, Olive, Sawyer and Ruth; her son, F. Michael Distasio and his wife Alison of Korea and grandchildren, Prudence and Henry; her brothers, Lawrence J. King of FL; Michael J. King of FL; Richard J. Madison of Groveland; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her stepson W. Michael White, sisters, Mary P. Hurley and Marie King.<\/p>\n
Due to the current healthcare crisis and Dorothy\u2019s wishes, there will be no services. The family would like to thank Baker Katz Nursing Home for the care she received the past five years and Brookhaven Hospice for all their care. Arrangements are by the Kevin B.
