Smith"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Haverhill \u2013 Eric D. Smith, 47, passed away December 19, 2020 at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston.<\/p>\n<p>Born in Newburyport, he was the son of Lloyd R. Smith and Bonnie L. (MacLeod) Smith of Haverhill. Eric attended Haverhill public schools and was a graduate of Whittier Tech, Class of 1991. He was employed in real estate maintenance and general carpentry. Eric enjoyed riding his dirt bike, fishing and was a huge NASCAR fan. He loved his daughter Aleah and his family. Time spent with them was what he cherished most. Eric will be missed by all who knew and loved him.<\/p>\n<p>Eric is survived by his daughter, Aleah Smith of Haverhill; his mother, Bonnie L. (MacLeod) Smith of Haverhill and his father, Lloyd R. Smith of Haverhill; his grandmother, Marilyn MacLeod of Boxford; several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother Jami Smith.<\/p>\n<p>Funeral services will be private. Arrangements are by the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill.
