Andover \u2013 Carmen M. Perez\u00a0Segarra, 87, wife of the late\u00a0Efrain\u00a0Quiles, passed away January 26, 2021 at Lawrence General Hospital.<\/p>\n
Born in\u00a0Lares, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late\u00a0Cecilio\u00a0Perez Mercado and Monserrate\u00a0Segarra. Raised and educated in Puerto Rico, she moved to the United States in her early 20\u2019s, settling in Brooklyn, NY. Carmen has lived in Haverhill for the past 5 years. She worked as a factory worker in the garment industry for many years. A devoted wife, mother,\u00a0grandmother\u00a0and great grandmother, she raised her young family alone after the passing of her husband. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.<\/p>\n
Carmen is survived\u00a0by her children,\u00a0Efrain\u00a0Quiles\u00a0Perez, Carmen\u00a0L.\u00a0Quiles\u00a0Perez, Hector\u00a0Quiles\u00a0Perez, Juan\u00a0Quiles\u00a0Perez, Jose\u00a0A.\u00a0Quiles\u00a0Perez; grandchildren, Miguel A. Vega, Erik L. Vega,\u00a0Ivelisse\u00a0N. Crespo, Sean L. Valle, Joshua\u00a0Quiles,\u00a0Yslen M.\u00a0Quiles, Christina M.\u00a0Quiles, Leila M.\u00a0Quiles; and 12 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, Edwin\u00a0Quiles\u00a0Perez,<\/p>\n
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Friday, January 29, from 4:00PM until 7:00PM at the Kevin B.\u00a0Comeau\u00a0Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill.
