Haverhill \u2013 Gladys B. (Comeau) Currier, 89, wife of the late Norman Currier who died in 1994, passed away February 17, 2021 at Wingate Nursing Home in Haverhill.<\/p>\n
Born in Haverhill, she was the daughter of the late Gustave J. and Marie M. (Blinn) Comeau. Raised and educated in Haverhill, she was a graduate of Haverhill High School, Class of 1951. She worked in quality control at Raytheon in Andover for many years and at Haverhill nursing homes. With her husband, she traveled to Vero Beach, FL where they spent most of their winters. She loved singing and was a long time member of the Sweet Ada-lines of the Merrimack Valley area. Gladys was a member of the 7th<\/sup> Day Adventist Church in Haverhill where she was a Deaconess. A devoted wife, mother grandmother and great grandmother, she will be missed by her loving family and many friends.<\/p>\n Gladys is survived by her children, David Currier and his wife Karen of Haverhill; Norman Currier and his wife Margaret of Sandown, NH; Michael Pizar of TN; David Pizar and his wife Maria of Salisbury; her daughter and caretaker, Marcia Bretton and her husband Stephen of Derry, NH; fourteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Gustave J. Comeau, Jr., Omar Comeau, Doris Bresnahan, Mary Sorenson and Margaret Mack.<\/p>\n Funeral services will be private. Arrangements are by the Kevin B.
