She came to the United States December 24, 1948 and settled in New York. From New York she settled in Haverhill, working in the shoe industry and at the former Hale Hospital as a Nutritional Assistant and retired from there. Katharine will be missed by all her friends and family.<\/p>\n<p>Katharine is survived by her loving daughter, Heidi Lynn Nibi of Bradford.<\/p>\n<p>Services will be private. Arrangements are by the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill. Memorial donations may be made in her memory to MSPCA at Nevins Farm, 400 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844.
