(DeRidder) Chapman, 74, wife of the late Clayton Chapman, passed away September 5, 2021 at Emerson Hospital in Concord.<\/p>\n<p>Born in Schenectady, New York, she was the daughter of Emily DeRidder and the late Lyman DeRidder. Raised in Sudbury, Nancy was a graduate of Lincoln Sudbury Regional High School, Class of 1966. She moved to Haverhill in the early 1980\u2019s and back to Maynard in 2006. While living in Haverhill she was employed at Kenoza Manor and also at Bradlee\u2019s Department Store. Nancy enjoyed all kinds of crafting and crocheting. A woman known for her big heart, she loved spending time with family and friends. She cherished her six grandchildren and looked forward to spending as much time with them as possible. Nancy played the organ and her favorite music was hymns, especially How Great Thou Art. She will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.<\/p>\n<p>Nancy is survived by her mother, Emily DeRidder; her daughter, Lisa R.A. Chapman of Salt Springs, FL; sisters Alice Kaye Simon of Amarillo, TX and Doris DeRidder and Stephen Banatoski of Maynard; grandchildren Keara, Geneal, William, Aiden, Jaylyn and Jillian; nieces and nephews, Sarah, James and Ian Banatoski, John Simon Jr., Elizabeth Comerford and David Simon.<\/p>\n<p>Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, September 9 from 4:00PM until 6:30PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home following at 6:30PM. Burial will be in Wadsworth Cemetery, 74 Concord Road, Sudbury.
