He was raised and educated in Haverhill, attending S.t James School and Haverhill High School Alternative School. Esias was employed at Dunkin Donuts in Newburyport. He was a very bright young man who volunteered at the Salvation Army, Feed the Blind Guild, and the Rehobeth Lighthouse Church. He had a big heart and a giving spirit and wanted to help others. Esias loved music and dancing and idolized Michael Jackson. Esias will be missed by all who knew and loved him.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to his loving parents, Esias is survived by his siblings, Elijah Poisson of Plaistow, NH; Jeremy Poisson of Amesbury; Janai Johnson of Methuen; Tres Johnson of Amesbury; Ezekiel Johnson of Amesbury and Taylor McKinnon of Quincy; nieces and nephews, Stella, Lilah, Ellie, Elijah, Jr. and Solismaan Poisson; his grandparents, Philbert Maitland of Merrimack and Georgianna Maitland; and many friends and extended family.<\/p>\n<p>Amesbury \u2013 Esias Omari Johnson, 24, passed away suddenly September 7, 2021 in New York City, New York.<\/p>\n<p>Born in Haverhill, he was the son of Jerome O. and Tracy Lee (Poisson) Johnson of Amesbury.
