Plaistow, NH \u2013 Miles Kane, 80, husband of Alcira (Marin) Kane, passed away October 11, 2021 at Lahey Hospital Medical Center in Burlington. Born in Port Jefferson, New York, he was the son of the late Daniel J. Kane Jr. and Grace E. (Ayers) Kane. He was raised and educated in Brooklyn and was a graduate of Brooklyn Technical High School, Class of 1958. Miles went on to obtain his Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. He was a brilliant engineer who worked for many main brand companies, improving and designing manufacturing machines for faster and more productive output. With his wife Alcira, Miles traveled all over the world.\u00a0He was a gifted woodworker and loved making projects and giving them to others. A devoted husband, father and grandfather, Miles will be sorely missed by his family and friends.<\/p>\n
Miles is survived by his loving wife Alcira Kane of Plaistow, NH; son Sean D. Kane of Epping, NH; daughter Elizabeth A. Kane and her husband Darreck Reisinger of Plaistow, NH; two beloved grandchildren, Grace and Hazel Reisinger; Pedro Marin\u00a0and his family of Bogota, Colombia; Esther Pardo and her family of Hallandale Beach, FL; and Emilia Marin and her family of Andover, MA. He was predeceased by Clara Sierra and is survived by her family of Davie, FL.<\/p>\n
A celebration of his life will be held next summer, with details to be announced at a later date. Arrangements are by the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill.
