Lawrence \u2013 Leonardo Montanez, 40, passed away suddenly on January 16, 2022 at Manchester Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, NH.<\/p>\n
Born in Haverhill, he was the son of Raul Montanez and Arlene Escoto. Raised and educated in Haverhill, he was a graduate of Haverhill High School, Class of 1999. Leonardo worked as a trucking technician for various warehouses in the Merrimack Valley area. He was a big fan of all the New England sports teams and followed them avidly. He also enjoyed fishing on the ocean, cooking and traveling. Leonardo loved to work on his motorcycle and enjoyed riding. Known for his big heart and great sense of humor, he was always there for his family. Leonardo will be missed by all who knew and loved him.<\/p>\n
In addition to his parents, Leonardo is survived by his brothers, Reynaldo Perez of Haverhill; Jose Montanez of NJ; sisters, Chantel Montanez of Grand Praire, TX and Marisol Montanez of Tuscon, AZ; his stepmother, Nidia Montanez; girlfriend Marleny E. Lopez Aguilar; and many nieces and nephews.<\/p>\n
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, January 26, from 5:00PM until 8:00PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St., Haverhill.
