Haverhill – Joan I. (Theberge) Van Coppenolle, 86, passed away March 22, 2022 at High Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill with her loving family by her side.
\nBorn in Lawrence, she was the daughter of the late Leo J. and Muriel (Covey) Theberge. Raised in Lawrence, she attended Lawrence schools and was a graduate of Lawrence High School, Class of 1953. Joan lived in Southern California with her young family. After moving back to the Haverhill area she was employed at the former Building 19. Joan loved gambling and playing bingo and would often take small trips and cruises in the New England area. Being the oldest daughter of ten she helped to raise her siblings. Joan was known for her beautiful singing voice and would often be heard singing hymns, her favorite being Amazing Grace. A devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother she will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
\nJoan is survived by her children, Leo Fillipon and his wife Cheryl of Ossipee, NH; Irene Van Coppenolle-Fisher of Haverhill and Mark Van Coppenolle and his wife Diane of Raymond, NH; grandchildren, Christopher Gianni, Deanna Dube, David Hoyt, Danielle Hoyt, Marc Fisher, Jr., Charles Van Coppenolle, Desiree Van Coppenolle, Nicole Van Coppenolle and Cheyanne Van Coppenolle; twelve great grandchildren; brother Robert Theberge of Fitchburg; Daniel Thebrerge of CA; Colleen Brandolini of Las Vegas, NV; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughters Margaret “Peggie” (Fillipon) Gianni and Denise Van Coppenolle, her son Wade Van Coppenolle and her granddaughter; Jessica Fisher along with siblings Augustine, Albert, Richard and Patrick Theberge, Dorothy Murphy and Muriel Theberge.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
