Haverhill \u2013\u00a0Crispiliana\u00a0(Figueroa) Baez, 100, of Haverhill, widow of Julio Baez, passed away peacefully at her home on May 7, 2022.\u00a0Born in\u00a0Comerio, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late,\u00a0Alcadio\u00a0and\u00a0Valentiana\u00a0(Rodriguez) Figueroa. Educated in Puerto Rico, she married her late husband Julio at the young age of thirteen and shared fifty years together until his passing thirty seven years ago.\u00a0Together she and her husband relocated to Haverhill to start a new journey in 1976.\u00a0Crispiliana\u00a0was affectionately known as \u201cDona\u00a0Pola\u201d by her family and\u00a0was the respected matriarch. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother,\u00a0great-\u00a0great grandmother.\u00a0She loved nothing more than spending\u00a0 time and having a full house with family. She had a great sense of humor, loved to laugh and enjoyed cooking for family.<\/p>\n
Her survivors include her loving children; Carmen Aida Baez and her husband Raul Fuentes, of Puerto Rico, Justina Arriaga and husband David, of Pennsylvania, Maria Pagan, of Puerto Rico, Carmen Baez and significant other, Primitivo Vazquez, of Puerto Rico, Ana Lidia Maisonet and husband, Feliciano, of Haverhill, Otilia Matos, of New Jersey, Elizabeth Baez and husband, Santos Rodriguez, of Haverhill, Hipolita Baez, of Haverhill, Aurea Esther Baez and husband, Edgardo Alvardo, of Texas, Jose Antonio Baez, of Haverhill, and Zoraida Baez, of Haverhill, 37 grandchildren, 70 great grandchildren, and 36 great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sons, Israel Baez, Julio Luis Baez; grandchildren, Norma Iris Baez and Jariel Ramirez; and sons in law, Monserrate Pagan and Rafael Matos.<\/p>\n
Family and friends are respectfully invited to calling hours on Thursday, May 12 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Kevin B.\u00a0Comeau\u00a0funeral home, 486 Main St. Haverhill. Funeral services will be held on Friday morning at 10:00 AM at the funeral home with burial to follow at St. James Cemetery, Primrose St. Haverhill.
