Clark 87, formerly of Gray, Maine passed away at his home in Groveland Massachusetts on September 6th, 2022.<\/p>\n<p>Gene was born in Solon, Maine on October 20, 1934, the youngest of 10 children, to the late Harry and Eula Mae (Bean) Clark.<\/p>\n<p>Gene was raised in Solon, Maine. After school, Gene served in the Army during the Korean war. He was a strong, stoic New Englander with an incredible sense of humor and a deep love for his family.<\/p>\n<p>Gene was the beloved husband of\u00a0 66 years to Avis (McLaughlin) Clark. He was the loving father of Jeffrey Clark of Maine, Anthony Clark of Texas, and Lisa McLoon of Massachusetts. He was the cherished grandfather of Ashley, Nick, Taylor, Dylan, Ian and Erin, and great-grandfather to Audrey, Luke, William, Emily, Nora, Stevie, and Malika.<\/p>\n<p>Memorial services will be held at Riverview Cemetery, Groveland Massachusetts on Sept 17th at 1:00. Memorial donations may be made in Gene&#8217;s name to the Humane Society of Massachusetts. Arrangements are in the care of the Kevin B.
