Haverhill\u00a0\u2013\u00a0Ian Joseph Kessel, 26 passed away on\u00a0March 08, 2023.<\/p>\n
Born in\u00a0Methuen, MA\u00a0he was the son of\u00a0the late Michael W. Kessel and Cheryl M.\u00a0 Menzies, of Naples FL.\u00a0 He was also the brother to Michaela Kessel of Bradford, MA and Mariah Kessel of Salem, NH. Ian\u00a0was a standout\u00a0athlete, known for his speed and agility on both the football field and basketball court. He continued to play basketball in local leagues and recently\u00a0joined a semi pro football team in Worcester, MA, hoping to play\u00a0football\u00a0again in the Fall.\u00a0Ian recently opened up a gaming and recording studio in North Andover, MA where he was working hard towards making the business a success. Ian loved to travel and had recently spent 4 months in Naples with his girlfriend, Vanessa, where he enjoyed spending time at the dog beach with their puppy Isa.\u00a0 During the past few years Ian spent much of him time traveling with Vanessa. He spent time in California, different parts of FL and his favorite place, Las Vegas, where he loved to play poker, walk the strip and see live shows. Ian also enjoyed going for long nature walks with Vanessa and Isa. In addition, he enjoyed attending Red Sox and Celtics games at any chance he could get.<\/p>\n
Ian was a caring and compassionate individual who held a deep and strong love for his parents, sisters and grandmother, Valerie Menzies, whom he shared a very special and strong bond with through his entire life.\u00a0Ian\u00a0deeply\u00a0loved and was loved by his girlfriend, Vanessa Veloz, whom he was expecting a baby daughter with in April.\u00a0He also loved his four year old daughter Kailani.\u00a0 In addition to his Mother, Grandmother, sisters and daughter he leaves behind extended family in Germany and in the local area.<\/p>\n
ARRANGEMENTS:\u00a0 Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Sunday, March 12 from 2PM until 5PM.\u00a0 Funeral mass on Monday, March 13 at 1:30PM\u00a0 at All Saints Parish, Haverhill, MA.\u00a0 Arrangements are in the care of\u00a0 Kevin B.
