HAVERHILL, MA – David Ross DeVeau, Sr., 57, died on January 12 in New Braunfels, TX peacefully at his home with his wife Sarah and sister Deborah by his side.<\/p>\n
David was born on March 9, 1965 to Conrad C. and Catherine L. (Germinara) DeVeau in Haverhill, MA.\u00a0 David graduated from Haverhill High School in 1983, going on to Norwich University and Dickerson School of Law at Penn State.\u00a0 He worked in corporate law for Hutchins, Wheeler & Dittmar in Boston, MA. David was General Council at Kinder-Morgan, Inc. in Houston, TX until his retirement.\u00a0 David was a devoted father, brother and uncle.\u00a0 He enjoyed fishing, duck hunting and target shooting.\u00a0 He also enjoyed driving his Porsche and Harley Davidson motorcycles, and had a love for rescue dogs and country music. David also traveled for missionary work to Costa Rica, Guatemala and Mexico for Woodlands Methodist Church in Texas.\u00a0 His house had an open door policy with friends and family.\u00a0 He was a very generous person and was very involved in St. Jude\u2019s Children\u2019s Research Hospital.<\/p>\n
David is survived by his wife Sarah Coleman-DeVeau, son David Ross DeVeau, Jr, San Diego, CA, and daughter Madeline \u201cMaddie\u201d R. DeVeau, Dallas, TX, and sister Debroah F. DeVeau, Stratham, NH.<\/p>\n
David was predeceased by son Luc W. DeVeau, and brother Stephen C. DeVeau.<\/p>\n
ARRANGEMENTS:\u00a0 A graveside service will be held at on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at 11:00 AM, at St. Patrick\u2019s Cemetery, N. Broadway, Haverhill, MA. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude\u2019s Children\u2019s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Norwich University, Norwich University Office of Development, 158 Harmon Drive, Northfield, VT 0566.
