{"id":4015,"date":"2023-10-03T14:29:10","date_gmt":"2023-10-03T14:29:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/comeaufuneral.com\/?p=4015"},"modified":"2023-10-03T14:29:10","modified_gmt":"2023-10-03T14:29:10","slug":"constance-rose-ficociello-rogers-88","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/comeaufuneral.com\/2025-1\/constance-rose-ficociello-rogers-88\/","title":{"rendered":"Constance Rose (Ficociello) Rogers, 88"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>HAVERHILL \u2013 Constance Rose (Ficociello) Rogers, 88, passed away on Sunday, October 1 at the Holy Family Hospital in Methuen.<\/p>\n<p>Constance was born in East Brookfield on August 25, 1935 to Andrew and Sophie (Niejadlik) Ficociello. She graduated at the top of her class from David Prouty High School, Class of 1953. She worked for Western Electric for many years and retired from Lucent Technologies as a Production Associate in 2000.\u00a0 Constance was a devoted and active parishioner at St. James Church in Haverhill and had many community interests and activities over the years, including the Ladies Auxiliary of the Richard O. Desmaris Post 675 VFW and served as theDistrict14 President of the Ladies Auxiliary for the Veterans of Foreign War.\u00a0 She also enjoyed being a4-H leader of the Silver Spurs 4-H Riding Club of Salem, NH for over 30 years. In addition, she served on the UNH Rockingham County Cooperative Extension Advisory Council and was active in the Rockingham County 4-H Horse Leaders Association.<\/p>\n<p>Connie had a great sense of humor with a quick wit and a joke always at the ready.\u00a0 She was a big fan of Elvis Presley, enjoyed watching the Red Sox, talking on the phone with her many friendsandloved showering her family with Christmas gifts. Her family always came first. Her homemade Italian and Polish foods were loved by all.\u00a0 She will be remembered dearly as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt. She also was a \u201csecond\u201d mother to many of her 4-H students with whom she still kept in contact.<\/p>\n<p>Constance is survived by her daughters Maureen E. Perkins, of Georgetown, Kathleen R. Keefe, of Atkinson, NH and Attorney Kelly R. Spencer and husband Michael, of Haverhill. She also leaves behind her grandchildren Nathan R. Perkins, of Bradford, Jonathan D. Perkins, of Plaistow, NH, Rebecca A. Perkins, of Fremont, NH, Aaron R. Spencer, of Salisbury, Rachel O. Spencer, of Haverhill, and Sarah M. Spencer, of Southport, ME; and great grandchildren Kyle Perkins, Matthew Perkins, Jack Perkins, Travis Perkins, Lukas Perkins; and her dear, close friend Douglas Dow.\u00a0 She will also be missed by her granddogs, Mason and Katie.<\/p>\n<p>Constance was predeceased by her husband John \u201cJack\u201d Rogers, sons-in-law David B. Perkins and Brian J. Keefe as well as her sisters Marion Spink and Janet Lucchesi.<\/p>\n<p>ARRANGEMENTS:\u00a0 Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, October 5 from 4PM until 7PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 6 at 10AM at St. James Church, 185 Winter Street, Haverhill.\u00a0 Burial will follow at Linwood Cemetery, 41 John Ward Ave, Haverhill. Memorial donations may be made in her name to the Brian J. Keefe Memorial Lesson Fund, 199 Old Sandown Road, Chester, NH 03036.
