(Gauthier) Boudreau, 71"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Haverhill \u2013 Valerie A. (Gauthier) Boudreau, 71, of Bradford, partner of thirty years to Donald Smith, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side at the High Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill after a courageous battle with A.L.S.<\/p>\n<p>Born in Kittery, ME she was the daughter of the late Robert A. Gauthier and Joyce I. Kyle and step daughter of Sharon Gauthier of Milan, NH. She attended Haverhill Public Schools and was a Graduate of Haverhill High School, Class of 1971.<\/p>\n<p>Ms. Boudreau was a woman of many varied talents.\u00a0 She was employed by the City of Haverhill, as a road surveyor and owned and operated the Apollo Diner in downtown Haverhill.\u00a0 A gifted artisan; she also worked at Glass Roots in Brentwood, NH creating one of a kind glass ornaments for hanging plants where she sold them for several years at the Big E Fair.<\/p>\n<p>She loved enjoying beach days and spending that time relaxing always with her chair in the water and toes in the sand.\u00a0 Picking out seeds and working in her garden always brought a smile to her face.\u00a0 Most importantly was spending time with her family and friends doing anything but especially doing something for the \u201cfirst time ever in her whole life\u201d.\u00a0 She was a strong and honorable woman and certainly one of a kind.\u00a0 She touched the lives of those who knew her in so many ways.\u00a0 Her boundless affection for everyone will always be cherished in our hearts.<\/p>\n<p>A devoted mother, grandmother\/Memi, sister and aunt, she leaves her partner, Donald Smith, of Bradford, a daughter, Rachel Boudreau of Bradford, a son, Lee Boudreau and his wife Karen of Methuen and cherished grandson, Anthony J. \u201cAJ\u201d Boudreau-Iuele, step mother, Sharon Gauthier, of Milan, NH her siblings, Susan Mulderig, of Acworth, GA, Evelyn Sliousarenko and her husband, Peter, of Fitchburg, Janeen Spring of Westford, Lori Jones and her husband Brad of North Chelmsford, Linda Collins of Tyngsboro, \u00a0Kyle Chase and his wife Karen of Goodyear, AZ , \u00a0Justin Gauthier of FL, and several nieces \u00a0and nephews.\u00a0 She was predeceased by her brother, Bradford Chase.<\/p>\n<p>Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend her calling hours on Tuesday, December 17th, from 4 PM until 6:30PM at the Kevin B Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St Haverhill. Her Funeral Service will be held at 6:30 in the funeral home.
