Rich was a strong yet gentle man who faced his challenges with courage, hope, tenacity, and ultimately with the wisdom that it was his time to pass.<\/p>\n<p>Rich is survived by his son Ryan Hamilton, whom he loved more than anyone else in this world.\u00a0 He is the son of Helen Marie (Bailly) Hamilton and the late Leo John Hamilton of Salem, NH.\u00a0 He is survived by his siblings Jane Clarke and her husband Dan of Salem, MA; Joseph Hamilton and his wife Kathy of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; Arthur Hamilton and his wife Sheila of Salem, NH; Margaret Solon and her husband Gib of Ascutney, VT; Leo Hamilton and his partner Judy Long of Haverhill, MA; Raymond Hamilton and his wife Jackie of Cheyenne, WY; Maria Hamilton and her husband Jim of Andover MA; Matthew Hamilton of Plaistow, NH; Helen Fitzgerald and her husband Scott of Haverhill, MA; Patrick Hamilton and his partner Cathy Jerome of Plaistow, NH; \u00a0Frederick Hamilton and his wife Patricia of Dunstable, MA; Christine Guarino and her partner George Warner of Plaistow, NH; and Maura Hamilton of Arlington, MA.\u00a0 Additionally, he leaves behind many, many loving nieces and nephews and close friends.\u00a0 He will be remembered as a devoted father, son, brother, uncle, and friend.\u00a0 He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.<\/p>\n<p>How do you capture the life of a good man?\u00a0 Rich had a sparkle in his eye and a laugh always at the ready.\u00a0 He was fierce in his beliefs and in his loyalties.\u00a0 He would do anything for the people he loved.\u00a0 He had an honest sincerity and an innocent vulnerability, willing to share pain, grief, hope, and love with those lucky enough to call him brother or friend.\u00a0 He was constant in his beliefs about right and wrong.\u00a0 He was sensitive and thoughtful in his dealings with others, listening for what he could learn, but also assessing how he could lend support and guidance.\u00a0 His love of life was effortless.\u00a0 He burned brightly during the time he was here and he did not go gently into that good night.<\/p>\n<p>Rich was born in Haverhill, MA where he lived for much of his childhood before the family moved to Salem, NH.\u00a0 He graduated from Salem High School and then worked nights to put himself through Bradford College where he graduated with a Bachelor\u2019s degree in Finance. Rich lived in Illinois and Arizona before settling in Wisconsin.\u00a0 He worked at Wells Fargo for over 20 years as a Retail Auto Relationship Manager, overseeing the area from Northern Milwaukee to Green Bay, Wisconsin. He made friends wherever he went, and he lived a full life in the time he was given.<\/p>\n<p>Rich considered his greatest role to be that of father to Ryan.\u00a0 He cherished every minute of time they spent together.\u00a0 They shared all of life\u2019s ups and downs as only a father and son can.\u00a0 Between first cars and road trips, they packed in as much life as was possible in the time they had together.\u00a0 Their bond will never be broken.\u00a0 He leaves his son a legacy of love, laughter, strength, compassion, and treasured memories.<\/p>\n<p>Rich embraced his Irish heritage, through and through.\u00a0 He loved to laugh and joke around, and he was blessed with the gift of gab.\u00a0 He thoroughly enjoyed his deep and varied conversations with friends, family, and coworkers.\u00a0 As only someone from a large family can, he could talk to anyone about anything.\u00a0 Rich was also highly athletic, enjoying everything from body surfing and tag football at the beach to 5am ice hockey games at the rink with family and friends. He was a fan of all Boston sports teams and enjoyed music, travel, and the beach. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.\u00a0 May his holy soul be at the right side of God.<\/p>\n<p>Calling hours will be from 1:30-3pm on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at Kevin B.
