HAVERHILL \u2013 Dolores A. Croston, 87, passed away peacefully on February 26, 2025 in Haverhill surrounded by members of her loving family. Born in Haverhill, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Theresa Venezia and the sister of the late Michael Venezia, Jr.<\/p>\n
Raised in Haverhill, she was a graduate of Haverhill High School and attended Regis College before marrying the late Claude H. Croston. Dolores delighted in raising her five children and enthusiastically followed their educational and athletic endeavors. She was a wonderful baker, enjoyed Italian cooking, shopping for antiques and was an avid gardener. She also loved reading and was a lifelong learner obtaining her real estate sales license and completing her Bachelor of Arts degree at Framingham State College.<\/p>\n
Dolores enjoyed traveling but most enjoyed spending her summers at the beach with her children, family and friends.\u00a0 She treasured everything nautical and collected beach glass, shells and sand dollars on her many walks along Salisbury and Seabrook beaches. Dolores was also a bargain hunter who enjoyed everything from yard sales to shopping at the mall. She took great joy in her 9 grandchildren and planned many wonderful family events, including birthday parties and Easter egg hunts, at her golf community.\u00a0 She also made time to attend hundreds of her grandchildren\u2019s hockey, baseball and lacrosse events. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends and all who knew and loved her.<\/p>\n
Dolores is survived by her five children: Patrick Croston and his wife Piper; Christina Moseley; Timothy Croston and his wife Nancy; Sean Croston and his wife Jennifer; Kara Norris and her husband Stephen; her grandchildren, Caitlin Croston, Thomas and Frederick Moseley, John and Matthew Croston, Brendan, Declan and Finnian Croston, and William Norris; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother Michael Venezia, Jr.<\/p>\n
