On a cold day in November of 1919 Theresa Mary Kozlowski was born to Biagio Tambascia\u00a0& Augustina Bibbo Tambascia.\u00a0 When the family entered the country the name was written as Thambash and so she was christened Theresa Mary Thambash.\u00a0 She was born in Waltham, Massachusetts and later moved to a farm in Lexington, Massachusetts where she was raised with her 3 brothers and 7 sisters (one sibling predeceased). She was always on adventures with her sisters throughout her early years.\u00a0 And then one day she met George Kozlowski from Bedford , MA and all that changed.\u00a0 They were married in the old St. Michael\u2019s church in Bedford.\u00a0 They went on to make Bedford their home for the remainder of their lives.\u00a0 They had 3 children – 2 sons: George Joseph Kozlowski Jr. (Matt) 1943, William Vincent Kozlowski 1947, and a daughter: Zoe Nancy Mary Kozlowski in 1958.\u00a0 Many wonderful grandchildren, Steve, Michael, Eric, Coby and Jessica were born before the passing of her beloved husband George on November 21, 1992 after celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. Theresa remained a widow for 33 years but was lucky to have 3 wonderful great grandchildren Kaili, Michael Jr, and Bowie.\u00a0 Tragedy struck for Theresa with the passing of her son George in 2003, daughter-in-law Karen 2016 due to illness and her granddaughter Jessica in 2022 in a tragic fire.\u00a0 Theresa remained vigilant and her faith got her through it all. She was predeceased by all of her brothers and sisters. \u00a0 She passed away peacefully with family and friends beside her on August 2, 2025 at 105 years old.<\/p>\n
Funeral services will be held on Friday August 8th<\/sup>.\u00a0 Viewing 9:30 a.m. \u00a0 Service 10:15 a.m.\u00a0 at the Comeau Funeral Home,\u00a0486 Main St., Haverhill, Interment at Shawsheen Cemetery, Bedford MA immediately after.\u00a0 The family has invited all back to the home 23 Lido Lane Bedford, MA\u00a0for a celebration of life.
