LYMAN, MAINE \u2013 Richard C. Morse, 82, husband of Elzina L. (Cook) Morse, passed away on August 26, 2025 at his home in Lyman, Maine.<\/p>\n
Richard was born in Ipswich, MA on November 4, 1942 the son of Kenneth and Frances (Collins) Morse, Sr. After graduating high school he served in the US Army. After serving in the army, he met his future wife, Elzina L. Cook. Once they got married, they had two children: the oldest daughter Michelle L. Morse (Daddy\u2019s Girl) and his son and caretaker Richard S. Morse.<\/p>\n
Richard was a wonderful man who loved his family and friends. He liked to fish, to help others, and most of all make people laugh. He was nicknamed \u201cUncle Goofy\u201d by some of his nieces and nephews. He worked for many years at Building 19 1\/6 in Haverhill, MA for many years until he retired. He was well liked by his coworkers and great at his job. Richard will be greatly missed!<\/p>\n
Richard is survived by his wife Elzina L. (Cook) Morse, son Richard S. Morse of Lyman, ME, daughter Michelle L. Morse of Middleton, NH, and grandchildren Christopher S. Morse of Lyman, ME, and Matthew T. Sheehan of Haverhill. He also leaves behind his brother John D. Morse of Tennessee, and his sister Toni Wilson of Haverhill. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings Kenneth, Jr., William, Philip, Edward, Lawrence, Charlie, Earl, Robert, Harold, Dorothy, and Katherine.<\/p>\n
