AMESBURY \u2013 Linda M. (Smerdon) Pellegrino, 71, formerly of Haverhill passed away on October 10, 2025 at a Health and Rehabilitation Center in Amesbury.<\/p>\n
Linda was born in Lawrence; she was the daughter of Ronald and Marie Smerdon and was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School, Class of 1972. She worked as a clerk for the Community Action Council in Lawrence helping clients with fuel assistance and was a resident of the YWCA in Haverhill for six years where she kept everyone on their toes. She was very generous, funny and outgoing; and you always knew where you stood with her by her always cracking jokes or giving you a hard time. Linda was never quiet, vocalizing for herself and others to always give the best outcomes to the worst situations. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister and aunt who cherished time with her family, especially in the later years with her YWCA family that kept her stong.<\/p>\n
Linda is survived by her son Anthony R. Smerdon of Manchester, NH, her daughter Michelle Toto and her husband William of Leesburg, FL; and her brothers Stephen Smerdon, and Michael Smerdon and his wife Sue. She also leaves behind one grandson William Toto, Jr.<\/p>\n
