HAVERHILL \u2013 Joan F. (Bonenfant) Bourque, 90, wife of the late Francis G. Bourque of Haverhill passed away on November 15, 2025 at the Haverhill Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center.<\/p>\n
Joan was born in Haverhill to Albert and Dorothy (Brooks) Bonenfant and was a graduate of Haverhill High School, Class of 1952. She worked in office administration for many years as a secretary and bookkeeper; and enjoyed traveling to Florida, Las Vegas, Nashville and Alaska with her husband Francis.<\/p>\n
Joan was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She is survived by her son William R. Bourque and his fianc\u00e9 Suzi Demeritt of Haverhill, and her daughters Patricia S. Martin of Haverhill, and Cindy Jean Darling of Haverhill. She also leaves behind her brother Edward Bonenfant and his wife Elaine of Haverhill, and her sister Linda Brailey of Merrimac; as well as her grandchildren Maxwell Bourque, Jake Bourque, Jeremy Darling, Christopher Darling, Christina Darling, Joshua Martin, and Cassandra Russo and great grandchild Joshua Russo; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Francis G. Bourque, her brother Robert Bonenfant, and her sister Marilyn McDougall.<\/p>\n
ARRANGEMENTS \u2013 Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, November 20th<\/sup> from 4PM until 7PM at the Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill. A Funeral Home chapel service will take place on Friday, November 21st<\/sup> at 10AM. Burial to follow at Linwood Cemetery.
