Haverhill \u2013 Alice F. (Frampton) Coddaire, 75, of Haverhill, passed away peacefully on August 31, 2013 at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House with her loving family by her side.Born March 5, 1938 in Somerville, Alice was the daughter of Preston and Cecilia (Coffee) Frampton. She attended St Joseph Grammar School and was a graduate of St. Joseph High School. She made Haverhill her permanent home when she married Francis \u201cJoe\u201d Coddaire in 1955. Alice was employed at Northern Essex Community College in the Registrars\u2019 office for many years, retiring in 2000. She enjoyed helping students and seeing them succeed. She loved spending time with her friends and family. She was an active member of several social clubs in Haverhill. Alice lived life to the fullest and traveled whenever possible. Her friends and family knew her as a free spirit and all knew there was not much she wouldn\u2019t try or attempt if it interested her. The widow of Francis J. \u201cJoe\u201d Coddaire who died in 1985, she leaves her beloved children Timothy J. Coddaire, of Haverhill, Tracy J. Coddaire, of Dunlap, TN, Donna M. Woodard and her husband, Harry, of Dover, NH, and Sandra L. Ellis and her husband, Raymond, of Raymond, NH, a sister, Carol A. Howell, of Denham Springs, LA five cherished grandchildren Amy J. Coddaire, Jennifer Scott, Jessica Keys, and Michael and Daniel Dunn, two great grandchildren Seth and Jenna Mae, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her infant daughter, Theresa Margaret, sisters, Margaret Hayes, Ruth McQueeney, Barbara Fahey, and brothers, John and Robert Frampton. Friends and family are respectfully invited to call on Wednesday from 5 until 7 PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St. (Rte 125) Haverhill. Funeral services and burial are private.
